Sleep well, Aibo (1999 - 2005)

To bring back Sony on track, Howard Stringer (CEO) announced some time ago to cut 10'000 Jobs and slim down Sonys product line. I am not aware which product lines will be ceased, but after reading todays news that Sony has reported better-than-expected quarterly results it seems it will hit Aibo.

So sleep well Aibo, I always wanted you to be my friend. But unfortunately you were more expensive than about 3 real dogs.

New Sony Ericsson K800i shots

Rumor has it the soon-to-be-released K800i will sport a 3.2 megapixel camera, QVGA display and 512 MB internal memory. Intresting thing is the could-be-real picture of the menu which features an icon looking very similar to a Playstation Portable.
